Ladakh Moto Tours is a team of experienced Guide, Tour Leader, Mechanic, Climber, Driver and Riders who have worked for different companies for long time and have experience of more than 20 years each. Now we decide to give our clients directly the services which we have given to them through the companies we use to work for.
We welcome you all to give us a chance to serve you directly through our own company as we are the real people who makes the tour goes on well, starting from the day we receive your email till the time we drop you at the airport to fly back home.
Ladakh Moto Tours do not want to get into the Mass Tourism and that is why we have made our groups maximum of 6 – 10 riders. Our tours are scheduled in such a way that we give our Motorcycles a good rest and a complete checkup after every tour and a good rest to the most important, our staff who make our tours running in the best way in the harsh conditions also.
Ladakh Moto Tours comprises of a tour leader, a well experienced mechanic and the participants with a max. Limit of 6-10 Riders. For groups with more than 3 people, a support vehicle would be there carrying the personal and collective luggage. The SUV would also accommodate potential passengers if they choose to enjoy the ride in the comforts of the SUV. We are neither “agents” nor do we employ the services of “agents” to sell our tours. That way we offer the best services at great value straight to our valued customers. Our guided Motorcycle Tours bring together the thrills and frills of under-taking such a journey in style & comfort, yet offering serious value for money.

Lalit has personally led more than 100 motorcycle tours since starting Ladakh Moto Tours in 2006. He is a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, rider, and collector of vintage motorcycles and scooters. He began riding India’s roads more than 30 years ago at the age of 17 and has since explored nearly every corner of the country, including the Himalayas, gaining unmatched knowledge of India’s landscapes, cultures, and hidden routes. Since 1996, he has worked in the travel industry, including as a a trekking guide, and as a Walkabout Guide for the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA.
Originally from Delhi, and based in Himachal Pradesh, India, Lalit is our Route Architect and Road Captain, responsible for overseeing the planning, pace, and execution of every tour. With decades of experience riding the high-altitude roads of Ladakh and the Himalayas, Lalit brings calm, confident leadership, deep local knowledge, and an extensive network of connections that ensure tours run smoothly, safely, and authentically.
Educated in hospitality management, Lalit excels at anticipating challenges, from remote terrain to unpredictable weather, and making sure guests enjoy seamless, rewarding experiences. His presence as Road Captain provides riders with the confidence that comes from traveling with someone who truly knows the region, roads, history, and its people. Lalit fluently speaks English, Hindi, and Ladakhi.

Jean Eisenberg
Tour Leader
Jean Eisenberg is a Mountain Guide and Alpinist from Chamonix, France, with 26 years of experience as a Tour Leader. A passionate motorcycle enthusiast, he has been exploring India by motorcycle since 2000, covering nearly the entire country, the Himalayas, and extending his tours across Europe and Morocco.Jean has led numerous treks and tours in the Indian and Nepalese Himalayas and is fluent in French and English, with conversational Hindi.

Stanzin Chokputh is from a village in Zanskar, Ladakh, and has over 20 years’ experience organizing treks and tours across Ladakh and Zanskar. Having completed numerous treks and climbed many peaks in the region, he brings unmatched local knowledge and firsthand understanding of the mountains.
As Tour Manager, Stanzin handles all border crossing interactions, permits, and travel logistics, ensuring every tour runs smoothly. He combines professional expertise with deep familiarity of the region to manage complex operations efficiently. His strong local connections and extensive experience make him an indispensable part of every journey. Stanzin speaks Hindi, Ladakhi, and is proficient in English.
Off the trail, Stanzin is also an excellent rummy player, always ready for a friendly game after a long day of riding.
